Lijuan Luo
I grow up in China. I had my Medicine degree majoring in Preventive Medicine at Shanxi Medical University, where I got interested in infectious diseases. I had my Master of Public Health degree in China CDC focusing on molecular epidemiology of infectious diseases. I found bioinformatics is important. Therefore, I moved to Australia and had my PhD study at UNSW, focusing on bioinformatic analysis of bacterial genomes. My research interests include genomic epidemiology of bacterial pathogens and multidrug resistance.
