Novel promising MALDI-TOF applications for microbiology including rapid AST and polymyxin resistance detection
Over the last decade, MALDI-TOF technology has transformed microbiology in many ways. A significance transformation is the ability to rapidly identify a wide range of microorganisms by the MALDI Biotyper, which contributed to better management of infectious diseases.
This workshop will discuss novel approaches with the MALDI Biotyper for AST and antibiotic resistance detection, novel techniques for the differentiation of E. coli and Shigella spp., S. pneumoniae and viridans streptococci, and identification of filamentous fungi.
In this workshop, our instrument specialist will also guide you through the processes to optimise the performance of your MBT systems.
