Eric Kat Jun Low
Eric Low Kat Jun is a current postgraduate student in Master of Science (Applied Sciences) By Research, at UCSI University. He received his bachelor’s degree in biotechnology from UCSI University in year 2018 before pursuing his master’s degree by research in UCSI University and currently working with the research project title of caffeic acid, as a potential Lux gene quorum sensing inhibitor in Aliivibrio fischeri ATCC 7744. He has been awarded with the best undergraduate research project proposal presenter in 2018, with strong interest and passion toward research, achieved a distinction in the undergraduate final year research project of UV mutagenesis of Yarrowia lipolytica for extracellular lipase production utilizing palm waste cooking oil.
Eric is currently interested in the field of molecular biology and bioinformatics research.
