Asha Bowen
Professor Asha Bowen OAM is a paediatric infectious diseases specialist at Perth Children's Hospital and Head of the Healthy Skin Team at The Kids Research Institute Australia and University of Western Australia. Asha is passionate about improving skin health, preventing infectious diseases, and reducing health inequities for Aboriginal children and communities through research, clinical care, and public health initiatives. Her work spans epidemiology, implementation science, and health policy, with a strong focus on translating research into practice and improving outcomes for children and families. Her focus is on primordial and primary prevention of RHD.
